JOB DESCRIPTION

• The MuleSoft platform Architect will be responsible for the organization's Any point Platform strategy, setup, configuration
• Ensure technical quality, governance (ensuring compliance) and platform operations
• This position requires experience with middleware platform set-up for applications, including expert level knowledge of MuleSoft platform
• Enable CI/CD implementation across multiple LOBs
• The architect should have both business as well as technical skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations
• Ability to build from good relationships with clients/operational managers and colleagues
• Ability to gather and assimilate information
• Hands-on experience on platform experience including platform setup/VPN setup

Responsibilities:

Participating in pre-sales calls for conducting feasibility assessment

Configure and deploy Mule platform for CloudHub, Hybrid, Azure, Anypoint Runtime Fabric in a clusters of customer-hosted Mule runtime

Optimize and shape the Anypoint Platform deployment in the specific organizational context by working with business, infrastructure, InfoSec, and other teams

Define how Anypoint Platform is used in conjunction with other tools and applications in the organization.

Define the usage of Anypoint Platform and the corresponding organizational and process changes needed to help the platform be sustainable.

Provide guidance and drive the creation of standards, reusable assets, and automation required for scale and multi-LoB adoption. Recommend best integration practices, design patterns

Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects deployment

Advise delivery team on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring and other resiliency concerns related to the integration solutions within the MuleSoft Product Suite (API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave, Orchestration, ActiveMQ, Pub/Sub modules, etc.)

Must be able to lead platform related discussion with executives and other technical stakeholders for platform related discussion

Selects and recommends the deployment approach and configuration of Anypoint Platform with any of the available deployment options (MuleSoft-hosted or customer-hosted control plane and runtime plane)

Create PoC/V to prove conceptual design & framework. Review the outcome with Chief Architects for approval

Works closely with other Technical Leaders like Chief Architects, Technical Leads, Solution Architects and Designers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing
